I don't know how Shortcuts handle this, but if you run it as an AppleScript app you'll have to allow several things in Privacy & Security to make it work. The disabled part is the one related to True Tone, as finally I prefer to keep it even with Night Shift. I put it here because copy-pasting large indented code on Reddit is a mess. You can use it like I do, as an app, but you can also put AppleScript snippets in a shortcut, that's why I think it could be interesting to achieve what you want. ![]() You can easily tweak it to add or remove stuff, set your own conditions like "if program is running then", etc. I exported it as an app that sits in my dock and I click on it to switch between day and night modes. Didn't upgrade to Monterey yet, so it's not a shortcut, but I've made an AppleScript to toggle Dark Mode, Night Shift, True Tone, and change brightness.
